This is the view from the balcony of my house at night. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Here in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, it is so Hot Hot Hot, that Santa prefers a nice cold Heineken instead of the usual glass of milk.Happy Holidays !!!
Even Santa enjoyed this Tropical Pre-Holiday conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter.
The moon was actually a half moon but in order to make the other objects in the photo visible I had to increase the exposure time thereby making the moon look full. The corona was created by a very thin cloud that passed in front of the moon during the 8 second exposure.I used a Kodak Z740 5.0 megapixel Digital camera set at F/2.8 for 8 seconds and an ISO of 100.Photo was taken on October 26,2009 at 11:31pm
This bolt appeared just 85 ft. from where I was standing. It was taken from the balcony of my house here in Cabo Rojo,Puerto Rico.
